Botany Bay Family History Society is proud to be hosting the 28th Annual Conference of the NSW & ACT Association of Family History Societies. Date THE DATE
14, 15, 16 September 2012. A pre-conference Family History Expo, open to the general public, will also be held at Tradies on Friday 14 September from 10am to 3pm.
Theme OUR THEME - Endeavour Resolution Adventure Discovery - takes its inspiration from the names of the ships associated with Captain James Cook's Pacific Voyages, and in their presentations, using that theme, our speakers will explore both the history of the past and the challenges facing family historians as they embrace 21st century technology.
Venue OUR VENUE
Tradies, 57 Manchester Road Gymea. It is an ideal venue with excellent facilities providing comfort, accessibility, ample parking, access to latest technology and conducive to networking and socialising. Exhibitors' trade tables will be very well accommodated and audio visual screens around the auditorium bring presentations within easy viewing of all participants.

ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION
The NSW & ACT Association of Family History Societies was formed in 1984 to foster an interest in family history and to represent the views of its member societies in matters of state, national and international genealogical interests.

The Association does not undertake genealogical research nor does it exist to help individual family historians. Rather, it can provide researchers with contact details of the most appropriate member society or societies to assist with their enquiries.
